Commercial Roofing & Roof Coating Contractors

Still explaining your company from scratch on every sales call?

The Video Business Card is a 3-minute video that introduces you, earns a building owner's trust, and asks for the job — working on your website, your proposals, and your Google profile 24 hours a day, for years.

Marketing products & services for America's finest businesses since 2003 — home of , SEO, direct mail, and exclusive events for the commercial roofing trade.

Exhibit A

Don't take our word for it. Watch one.

This is a real Video Business Card . Notice what happens in 3 minutes: you meet the owner, hear why they do this work, see their crew in action — and by the end, you feel like you know them. That's what your prospects will feel.

Shoot video once = Works for years
The Problem

Every big roofing job gets researched. The question is: what will they find?

Before a building owner signs a five- or six-figure roofing contract, they do their homework. They pull up your website. They check your Google profile. They compare you against two or three other bids sitting on their desk.

And here's the problem: MANY contractor websites look the same. Same stock photos, same "quality workmanship" promises, same list of services. When an owner can't tell the companies apart, only one thing separates the bids — price. That's how good contractors end up racing to the bottom against whoever quoted cheapest.

You are not a commodity. But if the only way an owner can learn who you are is a phone call or a sales visit, then you are personally re-selling your company FROM ZERO, every single time — and your reputation only reaches as far as your own voice.

What Changes

One video. Three jobs it does for you.

They trust you before they meet you

Prospects watch you explain who you are, why you do this work, and how you do it differently — so when you show up for the inspection, you're not a stranger with a clipboard. You're the contractor they already picked.

You stop selling from scratch

Your best explanation of your company — the one you've given a thousand times on the phone — gets captured once, at its best, and then works around the clock without you.

Your bid stops looking like the other bids

When three proposals sit on an owner's desk and only one comes with a video of the contractor looking them in the eye, that proposal gets remembered.

Who's Behind the Camera

We work with roofers. That's the whole point.

Most video companies would show up to your shop not knowing a coating from a tear-off. We come from the other direction: commercial roofing marketing is what we do — the websites, the direct mail, and the podcasts that put contractors in front of building owners.

Miller's Commercial Roofing · Empire State Commercial Roofing · Schwartz Roof Co. · Flat Roof Experts · Quaker State Roofing — and over 100 other contractors run on marketing built here.

  • We know your customer — we already market to building owners every week.
  • We know the objections you hear — "isn't a coating just a band-aid?"
  • We know the jobs you want more of — and the season you need them in.

And we know most contractors would rather walk a hot roof in July than "be on camera." So this process was built even for people who hate being on camera: no script, no memorizing, no teleprompter. You sit down for a conversation about your work — the same one you have with customers every day — and we handle everything else.

The Plan

Three steps. Most of the work is ours.

1

Book 20-Min call

We already know your line of work, so we skip the basics and get straight to your story, your best jobs, and what you want the video to accomplish.

2

We film at your place

Our crew comes to you for a day or two — a relaxed sit-down interview at your shop, then out to your job sites for drone footage and your crews in action. You talk about your work; we capture it.

3

Your video goes to work

A finished Video Business Card, revealed to you live on a call — plus our complete playbook for putting it everywhere a building owner will look, and a working session where we help you install it.

The Asset

Not an ad. Not social media content. An asset.

Ads run out. Social posts disappear in a week. A Video Business Card is a marketing asset — one carefully built 3-minute video that answers the five questions every building owner is silently asking before they hire you:

Who are you? Why do you do this work? What exactly do you offer, and where? How are you different from the other bids on my desk? And what should I do next?

It's built from a real conversation — your own words, your own voice — backed by footage of your actual crews on your actual jobs. No actors, no script, no hype. And because it's built on who you are rather than this month's promotion, it stays useful for three to five years.

Everything included

  • Your finished Video Business Card, professionally shot and edited
  • Ready-to-paste YouTube title, description & tags so it gets found in search
  • A live reveal session — you watch it first with us and we fine-tune together
  • The implementation playbook: every place your video should live
  • A one-on-one strategy session where we install the first pieces with you

Optional add-ons — short vertical clips for social, customer testimonial videos, project footage, and drone photo libraries — can be captured during the same visit. We'll cover what fits on the discovery call.

Put It to Work

Twelve places your video sells for you

The Video Business Card doesn't sit in a box under your desk. Here's where it goes — and we help you install the first several ourselves.

Website homepageThe first thing a researching owner sees — trust before the first ring.
Google Business ProfileOwners checking you out on Google meet you immediately.
Every proposal & bid"Meet the team behind this proposal." The bid they remember.
Before the first meetingText the link when the inspection gets scheduled — walk in already familiar.
Email signatureA video link in your signature turns every email you send into an introduction.
Follow-ups & slow leadsSend it with follow ups. It keeps selling while they decide.
Postcards & direct mailA QR code on your mailers opens a video of you — not a brochure.
Trucks & trailersA "Scan to meet us" decal turns every parked truck into a salesman.
Home shows & exposLoop it on a screen at your booth and let it introduce you all day.
Pinned on socialFirst thing visitors see on your Facebook and LinkedIn pages.
Hiring & recruitingGood workers want to know who they'd work for, same as customers do.
Business cards & door hangersSame QR code — your paper card now opens a video of you.
Run the Numbers

What's it worth? Compare it to what selling already costs you.

A good salesperson

  • $70,000+ every year, plus truck and phone
  • Works 40 hours a week
  • One place at a time
  • Has off days
  • Might leave for a competitor

Your Video Business Card

  • One-time project investment
  • Works 24/7 — at 6 a.m. and at midnight
  • In front of every prospect who looks you up
  • Your best pitch, word for word, every time
  • Keeps working for 3–5 years
THE ONE-JOB MATH: a mid-size coating project — say a 40,000 sq ft warehouse roof — is a contract worth $120,000 to $200,000. If this video tips one single job your way over its lifespan — one owner who watched it, trusted you, and stopped shopping your bid against the low-price guy — it will have paid for itself many times over. Everything after that first job is profit on an asset that's still working.
On the Record

What clients say

His innovative thinking helps bring engagement from the viewers and makes it interesting as well as a fun setting to work with. Besides my YouTube channel, he created a Facebook page and website, as well as many other small details I wouldn't have thought about or known we could do to get my name out there.

Aaron Hershberger

I'll go out and sell the job, but I'm definitely not your marketing expert... Owen is the man with the plan.

Elias Raber · Quaker State Roofing

You have put together a great promo piece. Great job. Thanks.

Charles W. Herbster · Conklin Company, Inc.

The result was a product with a modern design that really helped us make a great first impression on our potential buyers.

Straight Answers

Common questions

"I'm not good on camera."
Perfect — that's who this process was designed for. There's no script and nothing to memorize. It's a sit-down conversation about your work, and we only use your best moments. Every contractor says this beforehand; none of them say it after they watch the finished video.
How much of my time does it take?
A 20-minute discovery call, a filming day or two (mostly at your shop and job sites — places you'd be anyway), and two short video calls. We carry everything else.
How long until it's done?
Typically four to six weeks from the discovery call to the finished video in your hands.
Where does filming happen?
We come to you — your shop, your office, and one or two of your job sites. Drone footage of your projects is part of the plan.
What does it cost?
It depends on travel and what we capture while we're there, so we quote it after the discovery call — you'll have a clear, flat project price before anything is scheduled. No surprises, no hourly meters.
What if I want changes to the video?
You watch it with us first at a live reveal session, and we fine-tune it together on that call. You'll never be handed a finished video you haven't shaped.
